Į mūsų klasę atėjo naujokas. Jis toks, na Tu žinai. Galima, visos mano pragyventos dienos iki praėjusios savaitės nesiskaitys?

viskas bus gerai

Aš niekada nesakiau, kad viskas blogai. Aš sakiau, kad reikia stengtis, kad būtų gerai.

book- 'Tanijo uola'- 'Le Rocher de Tanios'- The Rock of Tanios

Amin Maalouf - TANIJO UOLA

THE ROCK OF TANIOS
Tanios was a child of the mountains of Lebanon in the 1880's when the Egyptians Pashas were struggling against Ottoman domination and the British and French plotted with and against each other. The novel begins with a recollection of the rock on which Tanios was last seen sitting and weaves together the strands of the fascinating legend of his disappearance. via here
LE ROCHER DE TANIOS analysed

'Isvaziuoti pasiryztama ne sitaip. Nesveriama, neskaiciuojama zala ir nauda. Akimirksniu zengiamas zingsnis. I kita gyvenima, i kita mirti. I slove ar uzmarsti. Kas pasakys, del kokio zvilgsnio, del kokio zozdio, del kokio juoko zmogus umai pasijunta svetimas tarp savuju? Kodel kyla noras issidanginti kur nors toli arba dingti?

'O as, kai man priestaraujama, - tare jam churje, - imu rekti garsiau uz kitus, ir visi nutyla, net buna Butrasas.
- Kai man priestaraujama, as pritildau balsa. '

p.s. I enjoyed reading this book a lot!

If I died today...

I would regret that I
... haven't ever seen Rome
... haven't read all the books I wanted
... didn't have a kid
... haven't learned to cook well

... didn't know how to swim, to ride a horse, drive a motorcycle and lots of other things..
... didn't know to prepare a great coffee
... didn't dance enough
... and of course- people I love- my family- not dedicated enough
